Best wood-fired pizza in Madison! I love getting a quick bite here, and the pizza reheats very well if you can’t eat a whole one. You order at the counter and grab a booth to wait. Lots of tasty options on the menu and daily specials as well. Great to visit as a large group or just by yourself. Get the cremini if you’re a mushroom lover like me!
The food came really quickly, the atmosphere was relaxed and the place had a nice aesthetic, the staff were nice, and the food was tasty. The main issue was the slices of pizza were cut very unevenly and the dough was rolled unevenly so much so that half of the pieces needed to be eaten with a fork and knife due to how much flop the piece would have. This flop also made half of the toppings slide right off of the pizza if you tried to eat it in the standard way.
We have just recently returned from a trip to Italy where we had amazing pizza in Naples. The pizza at Pizzeria Brutta was spot on to our Neopolitan pizza. If you are looking for authentic flavor, this is the place. We ordered a margherita pizza, a rossoverde pizza and a salumetto. I definitely plan to eat here again.
Perfect portion size, affordable prices, and tasty pizza. Compared to American alternatives, their pizza's a lot easier to eat without all the grease and fat. Definitely one of my top #3 local pizza spots in Madison, give it a try!
Quick and friendly service with decent pricing. The cheesey garlic bread was pretty good appetizer, however the ketchup supplied was a bit watery. Pizza was really good. Kinda sloppy but tasted great. Would definitely get again.
